Presentation by the First President of the Court of Accounts to the Parliament on the activities of the Financial Courts for 2023-2024
In accordance with article 148 of the Constitution, Mrs Zineb EL ADAOUI, First President of the Court of Accounts, presented a summary of the activities for 2023-2024 before the two chambers of the Parliament meeting in plenary session on Wednesday, January 15th 2025.

The Court of Accounts Elected to head the General Secretariat of the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI)
The Kingdom was elected by a majority vote cast at the 16th General Assembly of AFROSAI, held from December 2 to 6, 2024 in Tripoli, with the participation of the Court of Accounts, represented by a high-level delegation led by the Court’s First President, Zineb El Adaoui.
Upon its election, the Kingdom of Morocco will host the permanent headquarters of this African organization.

Madam First President emphasizes the importance of placing the exercise of jurisdictional competencies within the context of public action.
Speaking at the closing of an international conference recently organized by the French Court of Accounts, on the occasion of the constitutive General Assembly of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions with jurisdictional functions (JURISAI), under the theme ” Auditors and judges: supreme audit institutions that make decisions “. Report on the execution of the finance law for the year 2022
Conformément aux dispositions des articles 147 et 148 de la Constitution, la Cour des comptes est chargée d’assurer le contrôle supérieur de l’exécution des lois de finances. Elle assiste le Parlement dans les domaines de contrôle des finances publiques et répond aux questions et consultations en rapport avec les fonctions de législation, de contrôle et d’évaluation, exercées par le Parlement et relatives aux finances publiques.
