The Audit Court has released a thematic report on Morocco’s preparedness for the implementation of the sustainable development goals 2015-2030.These goals were adopted by the UN General Assembly at his 70th session held on 25th September 2015.Given the importance of the implementation of the sustainable development goals and the challenges they pose to our country, the Audit Court carried out, in 2018, a review of the status of Morocco’s preparedness for the implementation of the sustainable development goals (2015-2030) .The above-mentioned report is available for download.

The Audit Court has released its management audit report relating to “Caisse de dépôt et de gestion” (CDG)This mission focused mainly on governance and strategy, resources mobilization and investment, as well as the activities subsidiarization policy.The summary of this report and its full version in French are available for download.

Statement by the First President of the Audit Court to the Parliament on the activities of the Public Finance Courts

Suite aux missions de contrôle de la gestion, de plusieurs Académies régionales de l’éducation et de la formation, réalisées par la Cour des comptes ; et au vu de l’attention particulière qu’a retenue la rentrée scolaire 2016/2017 et les critiques formulées à son égard par l’opinion publique, en relation avec les insuffisances qui ont compromis les conditions normales de la scolarisation ;La Cour des comptes a réalisé une enquête préliminaire concernant ce sujet.Sur la base des conclusions de cette enquête préliminaire, le Premier président de la Cour des comptes a adressé au Ministre de l’Education nationale, de la formation professionnelle, de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche scientifique, un référé sur les conditions de préparation et de gestion de la rentrée scolaire 2016/2017 et ce conformément à l’article 11 de la loi n° 62-99 formant code des juridictions financières.Sont proposées au téléchargement le référé du Premier président de la Cour des comptes, ainsi que la réponse du Ministre de l’Education nationale, de la formation professionnelle, de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche scientifique à ce référé. 

a Cour des comptes a publié le rapport de la mission d’évaluation ayant porté sur le régime des pensions civiles de la Caisse marocaine des retraites, suite à la demande du Président de la Chambre des Conseillers dans le cadre de l’article 148 de la Constitution.Cette mission a notamment examiné les aspects suivants :–      Le diagnostic et les réformes du régime des pensions civiles ;–      L’investissement et la gestion des réserves ;–      La gouvernance de la Caisse et les frais de gestion.     

Following the highest instructions of His Majesty the King Mohammed the Sixth, the Court of Accounts has proceeded to the examination of the execution of the program for the development of the province of Al Hoceima "Manarat Al Moutaouassit", and this on the basis of the report of the inquiry on the above program, developed jointly by the General Inspectorate of the Territorial Administration (IGAT) and the Inspectorate General of Finance (IGF). Which report has been communicated to the Court of Accounts by the Government, on 3 October 2017, in accordance with the provisions of Article 109of the law n°62-99, the Financial Jurisdictions Code.In this framework, the first President of the Court of Accounts, Mr Driss Jettou, has presented the report made to His Majesty the King Mohammed the Sixth, on Tuesday, 24 October 2017.

The Moroccan Company for Tourism Engineering (SMIT) is a State-owned company established under Law n° 10-07 of 30 November 2007 in the form of a public limited company, under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Tourism.SMIT saw the light of day after the National Company for the Development of Agadir Bay (SONABA) acquired the National Company of Tangier Bay (SNABT) and the Directorate of Development and Investment (DAI), affiliated to the Ministry of Tourism. SMIT hence continues to benefit from the privileges of the companies which were behind its creation, particularly the privilege of expropriation, and it performs their obligations and missions.SMIT’s major mission is to conduct and get conducted, on behalf of the State or public legal entities, studies contributing to the development of the tourist product as well as the promotion of tourist investments.The audit of the Court related mainly to SMIT’s core business, namely the implementation of tourism engineering studies and the promotion of investments, highlighting the results achieved by the various activities of the company. The case of Azur Plan was taken as example to assess the contribution of SMIT to the implementation of the “tourist product”, the ultimate objective of this public entity. The assessment also related to the activities inherited by SMIT from SONABA and SNABT, relating to the development and enhancement of the bays of Agadir and Tangier as well as the related support activities.
